Advergames for the World’s Most Popular Bricks
Challenge: When someone (DHX Television) asks if you want to make a game for LEGO, there is no challenge. Except we needed to do it for a promotion, as an HTML5 ad, at a time when tools for HTML5 ads were not yet fully developed, deployed via DoubleClick
Solution: We made a fun little casual game featuring the Ninjago characters where users swiped or targeted the bad guys. While we struggled with the wrappers and ability to fit basically every mobile screen known to modern man, the result was a lot of fun!
Result: A lot of Lego fun! We learned what a voken is, and made a game that was played across the network’s website.
